UK Turntablist DJ Matman was recently commissioned by Belfast-based skate shop @solelostore to create a soundtrack mix for their brand new skateboard vid ‘Rise’, the end product results in a gritty score layered over some well executed Street Skateboarding.

This collaboration harks back to and is no-doubt heavily influenced by the 90’s Skate video ‘The Zoo York Mixtape’, it’s hard to overstate the importance this video made on skate cultural back then, spawning a whole decade of baggy pants, big shoes and Hip Hop soundtracks, still to this day the video is referenced as ‘1 of the top 5 Skateboard video’s of all time’
